RJK Hi!

2 answers got mixed up here

Brad is actually correct in suggesting there may be a circulatory problem - this can be checked using cavernosography and a colouring agent, then the doctors measure the venous flow into and out of the phallus, (you also get a jab of prostaglandin to give you a sort of "plastic feeling" erection)

you`re correct on the Peyronnies and this - in my experience - is diagnosed by doctors when they cant find anything else, even when no plaque is present, - - (that is when they dont diagnose psychosomatic)

Brad doesnt actually say what his problem was, but the other guy almost certainly is a nerve problem, and here the doctors have no way of diagnosing and seem pretty unhelpful ... I feel the best advice is that they read all the similar cases on trauma -- hope the link works - see ya``round

>Brad, sounds as if you have a circulatory problem of some sort, judging from your description of the problem. There is a disorder called Peyronie's syndrome (or Peyronie's disease) that is sometimes helped by reconstructive surgery, but the fact that you've found no hard plaque or anything similar suggests that Peyronie's is not the problem. In any case, your best course would be to go to a urologist or other physician having some experience with penile problems for an examination. Who knows, Viagra may be of help! Good luck, RJK.
>>>I started having aching pain on the right side of my penis about 2 years ago. THe pain was present when flaccid and erect but hurt most after an erection. There is no hard plaque in the area. Then 6 months after the pain started i began having change in rigidity of my erection. Now i dont wake up with erections and they are weak when i try to get them. I dont know what the hell happened. Could i have mildly fractured the penis somehow. IF anyone knows anything about penile fractures I would appreciate it!!!!!!
>>you would know if you had a major fracture. however this might have resulted from a minor fracture. you would most likely feel a scar inside your penis if this is so. you could also see bending when you have an erection.
>>i do not think that if you are having rigidity problems that it is from a fracture, unless you are soft after the scar tissue formation. i would consult a urologist and ask them about blood flow blockage.
